| Standard Rooms 3 Types of Standard Rooms Sea-front Family Style Lotus Pond House For those who would like something more conventional than a bungalow and less elaborate than a suite, we have a few standard rooms. With a choice of air condition or fan, there are four rooms under a single roof in a replica of a big Southern Thai house, set 10 meters from the seafront, (this is the minimum distance to comply with building codes here). There are a further four in semi-detached style, i.e. two rooms under a single roof, set back about 30 meters from the sea, but with no buildings between them and it. | Standard Rooms in Samui (Sea-front) These were our first standard rooms. They are right on the seafront. Some may like this position while others may prefer to retreat to the more private location of some of the other standard rooms in the heart of the Inn and away from passers-by on the beach. | Standard Rooms in Samui (Family Style) The pair shown are #224 & 225. These have a retractable balcony-dividing wall which joins the two balconies into one large gathering space. This pair do not connect internally. The pair to the right, (#226 & 227 - not shown in this photo), are the same except that they DO connect by an internal door as well as via the balcony. These are clean, compact rooms with all facilities and represent good value for couples or families who like to be outdoors a lot and just need a nice, comfortable room to base themselves from. Their proximity to the restaurant and pool, and the fact that they have tiled floors instead of polished wood, makes them a good choice for children, but if parents require privacy from their children at night then they must choose either two adjoining/interconnecting rooms, a studio suite or, perhaps, one of the standard rooms with screened-off separate children's areas in the Lotus Pond House Inside Sea-front Standard Room No. 224-227 - 2 adults & 2 children - 1 double bed - 1 set of bunk bed - Bathroom - Sea-view - Balcony - Air-conditioned - Fan - Hot water - Telephone - Digital Safes - Mini bars - Tea / coffee facilities |
| Standard Rooms in Samui (The Lotus Pond House - Hill-top) These are our most modern standard rooms, beautifully designed, elegant and comfortable each has individual characteristics and its own style. #228 has a double bed in the main room and a set of bunk beds in a separate area with folding, ventilated wooden screens giving parents privacy from children. This room is also interconnected with #229, if required. #229 has two floors. A double bed and the bathroom upstairs and two sets of bunk beds downstairs. This room is also interconnected with #228, if required. #230 has a double bed in the main room and a set of bunk beds in a separate area. It interconnects both via a retracting balcony wall and via an internal door with #231 which has two single beds. These two rooms are often booked as a pair. #232 has a double bed or two single beds while #233 has a double bed and a set of bunk beds. These two interconnect in the same manner as #230 & 231 above and likewise are often booked as a pair. #234 is similar to #228, i.e. double bed and set of bunk beds in separate area.
